Boston’s most metalest hardcore thrash punk metal act (and definitely not metalcore), Converge, have just released two new tracks from their upcoming album. One is in the form of a music video, which you can watch below.
The album is yet unnamed, but is in the final stages of production (that’s an assumption) and will reportedly contain 18 tracks.
Production, engineering, and mixing is likely being handled by their guitarist, Kurt Ballou. Kurt has owned and operated GodCity Studio since 2005 and handled Converge’s album production ever since, as well as a number of other artists. With vocalist Jacob Bannon handling all the albums’ artwork and being the founder of their label, Deathwish Inc., you could say that they’re a very hands-on type band.
