Online Guitar Tuner

This app was designed to be simple – it doesn’t utilize the microphone. Instead, it functions by playing the tones of the open strings in standard tuning, from which you’ll be able to tune yourself to pitch by ear. Developing a good ear is important for any musician, just don’t become one of those people who goes around saying “I have perfect pitch” though.

There’s probably another online guitar tuner out there that uses your microphone to ensure accuracy, but if you’re looking to stay in tune then I highly suggest purchasing a guitar tuner online. I’ve included a couple links below to particular models that I feel are the best. I’m partial to the Snark clip-on tuners because I can use them with my classical and steel-string guitars as well.
